Amazon.com Drops California Affiliates

Well if you are an affiliate marketer and live in California, then you have probably heard that you are no longer to generate referrals from your website or blog to Amazon.com.  California Governor Jerry Brown signed the Nexus Bill on or about June 30, 2011 that would pass a law forcing online companies that do business in California will have to pay sales taxes.  Amazon.com did not want to pay any taxes, so they cut off the California Affiliates.
I happen to be one of those affiliates that have been affected by this change of events.  Amazon.com did send out a standard form email message that told us to hold on until they found another avenue for us California residents to participate in their affiliate program.

Well I would like to introduce those over 20,000 businesses that have been affected by this to LinkShare.  LinkShare is a free affiliate program that offers a variety of markets to promote from. LinkShare_468x60v2

LinkShare lets you earn money from your traffic as well as from products that you promote on your website.  They have several categories that will fit into a lot of niches out there and they are quickly coming up the ranks on the web.  I would strongly suggest that you sign up for a free account with LinkShare and don't be devastated by the blow we have just been thrown by Amazon.com.  Simply click on the one of the two boxes and it will take you through the registration process.  Please be one of the lucky ones and join now while you can still do it for free!  Join LinkShare Today!
